Job Description
Solve complex problems related to infrastructure cloud services and
build automation to prevent problem recurrence and improve
efficiency. Design, write, and deploy software to improve the
availability, scalability, and efficiency of Oracle products and
services. Design and develop designs, architectures, standards, and
methods for large-scale distributed systems. Facilitate service
capacity planning, demand forecasting, and system tuning.

Healthcare platform is an exciting team working on at the
intersection of infrastructure and applications where we are
leveraging OCI to transform some of the largest Healthcare
applications in the industry. We are making healthcare better for

Responsibilities
To support the vision we are building a platform that manages
end-to-end lifecycle, from provisioning to upgrade to terminate;
and provides a self-service cloud experience to the customer, we
are looking for passionate engineers who are Oracle Database AND
Exadata experts. We are looking for engineers who have current
experience in cloud technologies or are interested in expanding
their skills in the Cloud.
Minimum Qualifications
6+ years of experience shipping scalable, cloud native distributed
systems
BS or MS (preferred) in Computer Science, or equivalent
experience
Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team
environment
Strong grasp of Computer Science concepts
Proficient in Python, Perl and/or Shell Scripting
You are experienced at building highly available services,
possessing knowledge of common service-oriented design patterns and
service-to-service communication protocols
Experience with production operations and best practices for
putting quality code in production and troubleshoot issues when
they arise
Able to effectively communicate technical ideas verbally and in
writing (technical proposals, design specs, architecture diagrams
and presentations)
Understand the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies,
and overall behavioral characteristics of production services.
Skills: System Engineer with extensive experience in:
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Oracle Database
Oracle Grid Infrastructure, ASM & RAC
Oracle Exadata
Experience in:
Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture & Best Practices for
Oracle Database & Exadata.
High availability & replication technologies (Dataguard,
Goldengate)
Advanced scripting/coding skills (Shell, Perl and Python)
Understanding of REST Architecture and JSON is a plus
Building and managing Linux OS systems with good understanding how
the Linux kernel works (IO, Network, etc.) and ability to read and
understand source code

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific

US: Hiring Range: from $79,000 to $158,200 per annum. May be
eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to
account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market
conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing
products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the
preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
