SONS CDJR is seeking an Automotive Sales Associate for our sales and internet department. We treat each customer's needs with concern and have a loyal customer base. All applications will be kept in strict confidence.Responsibilities:Sale Associates take the customers through a thorough buying process supported by established selling steps, policies, and proceduresDevelop and relay a high level of product knowledge around vehicle featuresDemonstrate operation of the vehicle in the showroom and via test driveProvide a new vehicle to the customer through an established delivery process, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperworkMaintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term clienteleDevelop a prospecting system, making calls and sending emails to potential customers to set appointments Close DealsReport directly to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.Qualifications:Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent requiredTwo-to-four-year college degree preferred2-5 years of automotive sales and customer service experience preferred, but not requiredAutomotive sales background preferredKnowledge of new vehicle technologies and mechanical operationsPhenomenal communication skills, organizational and negotiation skillsSelf-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic presence in a team environmentStrong verbal and communication skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft OfficeValid driver's license required and a clean driving recordProfessional appearance and work ethic
