Heidelberg Materials, a leading supplier within the building materials industry, is currently seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Ready Mix Driver to join our team. As part of the global HeidelbergCement Group, we pride ourselves on superior products and impeccable service, delivered consistently to our clients across North America. The Ready Mix Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of ready-mixed concrete to various project sites, maintaining vehicle operation, and ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations. Operate a ready-mix truck to transport concrete to various job sites, ensuring timely and safe delivery. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal operating condition. Maintain communication with the dispatch team to report job status, delays, or other concerns. Comply with all safety protocols and procedures, including local traffic laws and regulations governing vehicle operation. Manage receipts, job tickets, and necessary documentation for each delivery. Assist in the loading and unloading of construction materials, as required. Clean and maintain the truck and mixer to prevent concrete build-up and ensure continuous operation. Ability to operate a heavy-duty truck and mixer Knowledge of road safety and traffic laws Basic mechanical skills to perform vehicle inspections Strong time management and communication skills Ability to navigate to different job sites efficiently Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record DOT physical card certification
