Job Description:
Heidelberg Materials is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious
Ready Mix Driver I to join our team. The selected candidate will be
responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of ready-mixed
concrete to various job sites across our operational areas. As a
leader in construction materials, we ensure our teams are equipped
with the best in class vehicles and training, providing an
environment where safety and quality are paramount. This role
requires excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to safety,
and the ability to work flexibly according to project needs. Safely
operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to various
construction sites. Inspect, clean, and maintain the equipment and
truck to ensure operational efficiency and safety. Manage logs of
working hours and of vehicle service or repair status, adhering to
state and federal regulations. Interact with dispatch, maintenance,
and order personnel to fulfill customer orders effectively. Conduct
pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the functionality of
the truck and compliance with all safety regulations. Collaborate
with the construction site teams to ensure the correct delivery and
placement of the concrete. Proven ability to operate heavy
vehicles, specifically concrete mixers. Strong understanding of
safety protocols and standards in the construction industry.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Basic mechanical
aptitude for minor repairs and maintenance. Medical Insurance

Clean driving record and proof of legal status to operate a
commercial vehicle in the U.S.
