Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This position
offers an opportunity to provide critical psychological services
within a K-12 school setting focused on supporting student success.
Serving the Alabaster, AL area, this contract role involves working
closely with students, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary
teams throughout the academic year. Key Responsibilities: Conduct
comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments of students
based on referrals. Screen for disabilities, identify learning,
emotional, and behavioral challenges. Administer a variety of
psychological and neuropsychological tests following established
protocols. Collect, analyze, and report data pertinent to
Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Support IEP development by
collaborating with educators and families. Interview students and
observe behavior within the school environment. Manage testing
logistics, including timing, scoring, and data recording. Assist in
the preparation of reports for legal evaluation requests.
Contribute to psychometric research through data collection and
preliminary analysis. Provide counseling and guidance to help
students overcome challenges. Desired Qualifications: Experience as
a School Psychologist or Psychometrist within a K-12 educational
environment. Strong knowledge of disability screening processes and
IEP procedures. Ability to perform detailed psychological
evaluations and accurately document findings. Familiarity with
educational, social, and medical history gathering. Skills in data
management and test administration. Effective communication skills
to collaborate with school personnel and families. Schedule and
Location: 30 hours per week in Alabaster, AL at a K-12 facility.
Academic year contract commitment. This role supports impactful
