This position offers a rewarding opportunity to support students with diverse needs in a K-12 school environment located in Akron, OH. The role is a contract assignment running from ASAP through June 4, 2026, with a weekly commitment of 35 hours. Ideal candidates will have experience working with students with multiple disabilities and autism, providing essential support such as toileting, feeding, and daily assistance. Responsibilities include: Supporting a kindergarten class of 6-10 students with multiple disabilities and autism, including toileting and feeding assistance Assisting 3rd-5th grade students in a specialized Paw Program, offering tailored support to five students Providing daily care and academic support to middle school students with multiple disabilities, including help with lunch and bathroom routines Qualifications: Valid Education Aide Permit required Experience working with students requiring specialized support, particularly those with multiple disabilities/autism Ability to manage multiple tasks and provide compassionate, patient assistance throughout the school day Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with school staff and families Location: Akron, OH Duration: Contract through 6/4/26 Hours: 35 hours per week This role is an excellent fit for paraprofessional educators dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of students with special needs.
