Job Description:
Description: Candidates will develop hands-on Production
Engineering skills used to support the manufacture of military
missile systems; the skills may include: ordnance handling,
mechanical assembly, electronic testing, factory automation,
industrial processes, technical writing, teaming and continuous
improvement techniques. Candidates will learn how to read and
interpret engineering drawings & specifications to develop
manufacturing processes, special tooling, and unique factory
equipment; they will utilize software systems to develop
manufacturing work instruction, analyze data, support test
troubleshooting, and design/document process flows. Investigate
root cause of failures/defects and implement
preventative/corrective actions to support continuous improvement.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Currently enrolled at an accredited university pursuing a Bachelors
or Masters degree in Mechanical engineering, Aerospace engineering,
or related discipline.
Must be a U.S. Citizen, have the ability to obtain a Secret DoD
Security Clearance, an Interim Secret is required prior to
start.
Desired Skills:
Applied knowledge of manufacturing assembly and test methods,
industrial processes, factory automation, technical writing, and
teaming.
Strong written & verbal communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word,
PowerPoint).
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government
security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated
with this position will be performed onsite at a designated
Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate
work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
