SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
A key deliverable is the use of technology to create & develop Solutions using advance principles & tools within the CAD/CAM process cycle.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Create CAD/CAM/CMM/AUTO processes & the development of technology to speed up the manufacturing & process development of components using the latest technology & drive productivity improvements.


  • Provide technical input to Application Engineering in support of process improvements to streamline the process from Design to finish product. Automate program generation of CAD/CAM, Post processors, CMM, Robotic load interface to drive world class manufacturing.


  • Provide manufacturing floor support processing issues and promote continuous improvement initiatives.


  • Work within a team that specifies, evaluates, justifies, and implements capital equipment projects throughout the plants and to continuously strive to evaluate technology as to its application at providing the most efficient process.


    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.


    • Strong desire to use and develop program solutions to automate CAD/CAM processes.


    • Knowledge of C & C++ programming & or other programming languages.


    • Knowledge of CAD / CAM software.


    • Experience in using 3D-model-centric computer aided manufacturing (CAM) principles and the associated techniques to analyze the CAD models as they relate to manufacturability. This includes utilizing the 3D-model to create toolpaths for CNC programming.


      EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
      Preferred:

      • Bachelor's Degree in engineering

        LANGUAGE SKILLS
        Ability to read, write, listen and follow instructions. Ability to read blueprints.
        MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
        Competent in developing systematic solutions.
        REASONING ABILITY
        Ability to develop product processes
        TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
        Travel will normally be less than 5% (training, equipment development, satellite facility support).
        OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES
        Attendance is an essential job requirement defined as having regular, consistent, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance including the ability to work regular hours and shifts, overtime before and after shifts and on weekends. Ability to work as part of a team, including all related departments/plants or independently as required to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction.

        This position requires compliance with ITAR requirement. Must be a "U.S. Person" (per ITAR 120.15) and are required to show proof substantiating this upon being hired.
