Job Description:

Provides clerical and technical support to the Case Managers, Home Care Coordinator and Supervisor to assist with utilization and timely discharge and referral for patients. Conducts technical insurance reviews, facilitates all communication regarding denials and provides medical records to the denial management vendor, coordinates transportation with placement sources, and enters and maintains patient data for operational and finance reporting.
This position requires providing service to all ages in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent. Associate Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience preferred. Previous secretarial experience; typing; detail-oriented; demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm.

Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.
