The Montgomery Area Family Violence Program, Inc.dba Family Sunshine CenterPosition Title:? ?Director of Victim ServicesReports to:? ? ?Executive Director ?Status: ? ?Full-time, ExemptWork Site: ?FSC Administrative OfficeSummary: ?The Director of Victim Services is responsible for maintaining a positive team culture within all program areas; for overseeing the planning, development and implementation of approved strategic plans as it relates to program areas; and the efficient and effective delivery of superior quality trauma-informed services to clients in the counseling and residential programs of FSC.Responsibilities ?1. ?Foster a team culture that is consistent with the organization's guiding principles.2. ?Ensure program staff and volunteers provide superior quality, fair, culturally relevant, accessible services to clients; similarly ensuring that the agency mission and guiding principles are followed and that program services are operating efficiently, effectively, ethically, legally and in accordance with local, state, and federal program guidelines.3. ?Oversee planning, development, and implementation of agency programs, in accordance with agency strategic planning and current best practices in direct service and advocacy for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking. 4. ?Lead and support the day-to-day responsibilities of Adult Counseling Services, Children?s Counseling Services, and Residential Services. 5. ?Lead, supervise and coordinate delivery of victim?s services at FSC. This includes but is not limited to, client screenings, treatment plans, client record-keeping practices, and quality control of service delivery system; must contribute to the creation and development of agency programs, as well as assistance in monitoring overall budget, policy/procedure compliance, and quality of services delivered by direct service staff.6. ?Provide input on the prioritization and allocation of available resources; assist with the day-to-day financial operations in accordance with budgets related to victim?s services.7. ?Review and evaluate service delivery, make recommendations for and execute changes in programs to ensure maximum effective service provision; monitor progress to outcomes as identified in strategic plan and individual grant objectives and evaluate on impact, efficacy and cost in program evaluation.8. ?Participate in the training of personnel as it relates to direct services and compliance with agency policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.9. ?Provide regularly scheduled supervision meetings with Adult Counseling Services Supervisor, Children?s Services Supervisor, and Residential Supervisor.10. ?Ensure direct service meetings are effective in delivering necessary information while providing opportunities for staff training and development of relationships. 11. ?Develop and oversee the collection, compilation, and analysis of direct services data and ensures timely submission of same on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.12. ?Meet regularly with the Executive Director and foster collaborative working relationships with other departments & community partners.13. ?When necessary, work with supervisors and service delivery staff to solve resident disputes and help address client grievances.14. ?Serve as Assistant Custodian of Records when Executive Director is unavailable in accordance with agency policy and procedure. Qualifications? ?Master?s Degree with 5 years of direct service experience? ?License in Social Work or Counseling required? ?A minimum of two years administrative experienceKnowledge, Skills and Abilities? ?Demonstrated experience in personnel management, program development and administration, and quality control of services. ? ?Knowledgeable of grant laws, requirements and databases.? ?Ability to maintain poise and self-control in crisis situations.? ?Ability to communicate with and be sensitive to the needs of people of various backgrounds.? ?Knowledge of trauma-informed best practices.? ?Experience in conducting an efficient and effective interview and deciding on the candidate best suited for the needs of FSC.? ?Ability to determine and prioritize appropriate victim services.? ?Exhibits excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.? ?Knowledge of current social and economic problems and the way these problems affect families and individuals.? ?Ability to identify and use community resources.? ?Ability to focus and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. ? ?Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with other agencies and to be cooperative in managing referrals.? ?Makes good use of time and acts professionally and responsibly in all work areas.? ?Exhibits strong verbal and written communication skills.? ?Strong computer skills in current Microsoft applications to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT and Publisher as well as cloud-based applications for time management and connectivity. Demonstrated ability to learn and implement new software applications relevant in the counseling sector.? ?Capable of being able to maintain a professional relationship with all entities of people (staff, Board Members, officials, and the general public).Travel Requirements: Local and statewide travel as needed and required by funding sources for training and meetings with other partners; Out-of-state travel may be required for training as needed; reliable transportation, valid driver?s license and liability insurance coverage is required.Qualifications???Master?s Degree with 5 years of direct service experience???License in Social Work or Counseling required???A minimum of two years administrative experience
