Job Description:
Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, the Student Nurse
Aide provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing
process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of
practice.
Qualifications
Minimum Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Must be currently enrolled in an approved nursing education program
and has successfully completed coursework in pharmacology,
medication administration and fundamentals.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the
ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a
stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
(ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP)
Perioperative Nurse (CNOR)---Other_________________________
Required Skills
Must have current BLS certification within 30 days of hire
date.
