Academic Internal Medicine Physician: The UAB Montgomery Internal Medicine Residency Program is actively seeking a General Internal Medicine Clinician Educator to join our full time faculty. We are a community-based residency program with strong ties to the main campus in Birmingham. As part of the UAB Montgomery Regional Medical Campus we train 3 rd and 4 th medical students in addition to our 27 internal medicine residents. This position is ideal for a BC/BE internist who has a strong commitment to medical education and excellent patient care. This faculty position is non-tenure earning. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience. Competitive salary, incentive compensation, and participation in an excellent retirement program are included in the employment package. This position is available to begin June 2022. Successful applicant will join the full-time faculty providing some outpatient care, in resident clinic, and 6 months of inpatient care at Baptist Medical Center South (BMCS). BMCS is the largest tertiary referral hospital in the Central Alabama, with five adult critical care units and over 50,000 emergency room visits per year. Through advanced technology, professional expertise and an exceptional level of personalized care, Baptist Medical Center South is the comprehensive resource for family healthcare in central Alabama. Known for its outstanding cardiovascular, orthopedic, neurology and surgical services, Baptist Medical Center South is home to skilled and dedicated physicians, nurses and staff.
