In addition to our many benefits and perks, UAB Medicine provides a variety of resources to support employees both personally and professionally.Provides psychotherapy services to adult outpatients, including individual, group and family psychotherapy.Position Requirements:EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social work required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Must adhere to the National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics. Psychotherapy experience preferred.LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:Currently licensed as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) by the Alabama State Board of Social Work Examiners or eligible to be licensed within six (6) months from date of hire required.TRAITS & SKILLS: Must be self-directed / self-motivated; must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
