Job Description Vista Staffing is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Palliative Care for a job in Dothan, Alabama. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Palliative Care - Discipline: Nurse Practitioner - Duration: Ongoing - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Staff - Full-time inpatient position - Monday-Friday schedule, 8am-5pm - No call, outpatient, or weekend requirements - Requires at least one year of practice experience - Ideal candidates will possess or be willing to obtain an ACHPN certification - Deliver direct and indirect patient care for palliative care inpatients and symptom and medication management - Provide inpatient consultations in critical care, oncology, neurology, cardiology, and general medical and surgical units - Conduct goals of care discussions with patients and families to align treatment choices with their wishes - Full and comprehensive benefits package including paid malpractice and tail coverage, health, dental, retirement, paid vacation and more - PSLF eligible employer - Serving a population of 600,000, located in southeast Alabama with an easy drive to Florida’s Gulf Coast beaches
