Enjoy the vibrant local community, proximity to downtown Baltimore, and access to waterfront parks while making a difference in a fast-paced Emergency Department.\n \n\nCompensation\n \n Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1570-$1680\n \n\nER RN Job Details\n \n Location: Brooklyn, Maryland (21225) – Baltimore area\n Assignment Type: Travel Nursing\n Unit: Emergency Department (ED)\n Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)\n Hours per Week: 36\n Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/9/2025 – End: 3/10/2026)\n Patient Ratio: 1:4\n Weekend & Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and holiday rotation\n Scrubs: Navy Blue (not provided)\n \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience in a high-volume ED (125 visits/day within the past 8 months)\n Active RN license (Compact or Maryland)\n Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS\n Preferred certifications: CPI, MAB, TNCC\n Essential skills: Triage, IV Starts, Phlebotomy\n Preferred skills: Cerner charting, Charge nurse experience\n Previous charge and preceptor experience preferred\n Ability to care for all patient age groups: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics\n Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)\n Two supervisor references required\n 1-3 prior travel nurse assignments preferred\n \n\nER Nurse Responsibilities\n \n Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care for urgent and emergent cases in the Emergency Department\n Perform triage, IV starts, and phlebotomy procedures\n Manage a patient load of 1:4 in a busy ED (average 150 visits/day)\n Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including radiology, social services, and unit secretary\n Document patient care using Cerner EMR (preferred)\n Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required\n Mentor and train new staff as a preceptor (if applicable)\n Comply with all safety and infection control protocols, including COVID-19 precautions\n \n\n \n Brooklyn, Maryland is an ideal location for travel nurses seeking Maryland nursing jobs and professional growth in a welcoming healthcare community.
