Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology Job Details: • Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM • Every other weekend call coverage from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM • 13-week travel assignment with immediate start date available • CNMT certification required • BLS certification required • Minimum 1 years recent Nuclear Medicine Technician experience required • Must be graduate of an accredited AMA program • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) • Must maintain State License as general radiographer, NMT, or have Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) registry • Administer various nuclear isotopes for scanning and detecting pathology • Regulate equipment used for scanning procedures • Print, develop, and organize films • Provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients • Work under direction of radiologist and follow departmental protocols Facility: This regional medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services to the community, featuring a full-service radiology department with nuclear medicine capabilities.
