Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Travel Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Days Location: Gadson, AL Duration: 13 weeks Start: 11/10 Shift: M-F 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Every other weekend call 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM Experience: 1 year Nuclear Med Tech experience Requirements: - CNMT certification - BLS - Minimum 1 year recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience Role Overview: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist provides timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include administering nuclear isotopes to detect pathology, regulating and operating scanning equipment, and producing and organizing films. Must be a graduate of an accredited program and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or maintain a CNMT registry and state license as required.
