Coverage: 46 Daily APC Coverage: 54 High acuity Hospital beds: 460
Fast Track: Yes ED beds: 64 Primary Physician on all ER encounters
Trauma level: II Hospital Medicine Program: Yes Cerner EMR
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive medical care to patients
presenting with acute medical conditions, injuries, and emergencies
Perform initial patient assessments, including history taking,
physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests as required
Develop and implement treatment plans based on evidence-based
medicine and best practices, considering the individual needs of
each patient Communicate effectively with patients and their
families, providing clear explanations of diagnoses, treatment
options, and potential risks and benefits Monitor and reassess
patients regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and
addressing any changes in their condition promptly Contribute to
quality improvement initiatives, research projects, and
departmental meetings to promote excellence in emergency medical
