Position Details: Additional Job Description GI Lab at Our Facility Full-Time Days - 36 Hours Per Week Overview: The GI Endoscopy department is a procedural unit catering to a diverse patient population, including both outpatients and inpatients seeking diagnostic screenings and treatments. The primary minimally invasive procedures performed include colonoscopies and endoscopies, along with advanced gallbladder cases. Monday to Friday hours will be determined based on departmental needs. 3-4 Weekend Call Rotations annually, covering from 0600 Saturday to 0630 Monday (48-hour coverage). One Holiday Call per year (coverage required). 2-3 Late Shifts each month, extending beyond scheduled hours until the lab closes. Qualifications: Required Education: Completion of an accredited registered nursing program. Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the state of employment, including compact licensure, and fulfilling all state board of nursing requirements. Certifications: Must complete hospital and nursing competencies, mandatory in-services, and relevant certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS) within the designated timeframe. Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered nurse is required.
