ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Gadson, Alabama. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - PCU Job Details: • Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM • Every other weekend schedule required • 13-week assignment duration • Patient ratio of 4 to 1 • Active Alabama state or multistate license required (no prior hits) • ACLS and BLS certifications required • Minimum 1 years recent Stepdown or ICU experience required • Cerner EMR experience preferred • Must live greater than 50 miles from the facility • Position may require floating to other units • Auto offer dependent upon start date and scheduling requests Facility: This regional medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services to the community, featuring a progressive care unit that bridges the gap between intensive care and general medical floors.
