accomplish remarkable things! Position Overview The Speech Language
Pathologist (SLP) will deliver direct rehabilitation services in
speech therapy to patients referred by physicians, ensuring
compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational
standards. Qualifications and Licensure Graduation from an
accredited speech therapy program (minimum MS or MA SLP) ASHA
certification (CCCs) OR eligibility for a 9-month Clinical
Fellowship Year (CFY) to obtain ASHA certification Current
registration/licensure in the relevant State, with an active
license in good standing Preferred: One (1) year of experience in
post-acute care or a similar environment CPR certification required
upon hire or during orientation, with ongoing maintenance necessary
Job Responsibilities Participate in community health initiatives as
appropriate Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
communication Work collaboratively with patients, families, and
support teams to address patient needs Maintain proper body
mechanics at all times Make independent decisions when required
Familiarity with laws, regulations, and guidelines related to
post-acute care Implement and interpret departmental programs,
objectives, and policies Foster professional relationships with all
colleagues and vendors Ensure confidentiality of all sensitive
information Comply with organizational policies, including those
regarding harassment and compliance Exhibit integrity and
professionalism by adhering to the organization’s Code of Conduct
Key Responsibilities Set, evaluate, and adjust realistic,
measurable, and functional goals (SLP CCC only) Supervise and
assess care provided by SLP CFYs (SLP CFY only) Implement speech
therapy treatment plans under the guidance of an SLP CCC Document
patient information accurately and promptly Effectively utilize
therapy software Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain
a positive demeanor Assist in patient evacuation when necessary
Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality Communicate
effectively within a multidisciplinary team Perform physical tasks
such as lifting, pushing, and walking during work hours Read,
