Applicants must possess a valid RN license, have recent hands-on experience, and hold necessary certifications like BLS, ACLS, and PALS, depending on the specialty. Overview: Utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care while maintaining professional accountability for the care provided to assigned patients. Assesses the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other caregivers and coordinates patient care in collaboration with various departments. Position Details: Facility: Our Organization Department: GIG Status: PRN/Per Diem/Flexible/Float Shift: Various Shifts Available JoinOurTeam Incentives: $40/hour Variable Shift Incentive W-2 Employee Status Minimum of 12 hours every 90 days Maximum of 30 hours per week (Sunday to Saturday) Options for 4, 8, or 12-hour shifts Variable Shift Incentives Available Work When and Where You Prefer! Position Overview: Are you looking for a flexible RN role with incentives? You can choose between day or night shifts based on your preference! There are no mandatory weekend, holiday, or shift requirements. Participation in the Gig Nursing Program entails being responsible for scheduling a minimum number of hours, being available on short notice, and being flexible, as shifts may be canceled last minute. Please note that this program does not guarantee shift hours and will be prioritized for cancellations. Departments Seeking GIG RNs: Behavioral Health (BH) Emergency Department (ED) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Medical-Surgical (MS) Women's Health (L&D, M&B) Facilities/Locations: Facility A - St. Louis, MO Facility B - Festus, MO Facility C - South St. Louis County, MO Facility D - Washington, MO Facility E - Troy, MO Facility F - Perryville, MO Facility G - Cape Girardeau, MO Facility H - Dexter, MO Qualifications: Required Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited registered nursing program. Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the state of employment and must comply with all state board of nursing regulations. Experience: At least one year of recent bedside RN experience is required for Medical-Surgical roles. For other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.), a minimum of two years of recent, specialty-specific bedside RN experience is necessary. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Epic software. Certifications: For Medical-Surgical, Behavioral Health, and Women's Health (L&D, NICU, M&B) - BLS certification required. For Critical Care - BLS and ACLS certifications required. For Emergency Department - BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required. Additional certifications may be required post-hire. Physical Requirements: This position necessitates the ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds regularly. It also requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift, as well as the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to fulfill job duties. Why Join Us?
