Department Overview: This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN)
within the Emergency Department of a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke
facility, tasked with delivering care to patients experiencing a
variety of acute medical situations. The RN collaborates with
multidisciplinary teams, ensures patient confidentiality, and
adheres to the organization's mission and standards. Candidates
must possess the appropriate nursing license, relevant hospital
experience, and specialized certifications pertinent to emergency

nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care. Holds
professional accountability for the care provided to assigned
patients. Assesses the overall effectiveness of care delivered by
other direct caregivers. Coordinates patient care in collaboration
with various departments. Upholds patient rights and maintains
confidentiality of patient information. Executes responsibilities

Overview: The Emergency Trauma Center is an energetic environment
where each day presents new challenges! Here are some highlights
that make our department exceptional: Recognized as a Level 1
Trauma and Stroke center, providing exemplary trauma services in
Missouri and Arkansas. Home to the only Regional Burn Center in the
area, serving Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. Features 70
examination and treatment areas, including 6 designated trauma
suites. Includes an 11-bed Pediatric Emergency Department staffed
by specialized Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians. Offers
specialized Behavioral Health resources and treatment areas.
Implements a SANE Program. Fosters strong, collaborative
relationships with Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians.
Provides an Emergency Trauma Center Nursing Fellowship, a
full-time, hands-on program aimed at enhancing skills and
confidence in a fast-paced setting. Our team is dedicated to

in our Emergency Trauma Center, you will engage with nearly every
healthcare specialty, caring for patients ranging from those with
minor ailments to those facing life-threatening conditions.
Qualifications: Education: Graduate from a State-approved School of
Nursing. Licensure: Must hold a current RN license from the
Missouri State Board of Nursing or a temporary work permit.
Experience: Hospital-based experience is required, with a
preference for at least one year in an Emergency Department.
Certifications: RNs in the Emergency Trauma Center and Acute Care
must possess a current American Heart Association Healthcare
Provider card or complete a course during their probationary
period. Additionally, they must have a current ACLS card or
complete a course within six months of hire, as well as current
PALS or ENPC and TNCC certifications, or complete these courses
