Job Description Job Description Flexible RN Position - Per Diem/PRN - Springfield and Nearby Areas This role is for a per diem Registered Nurse (RN) who will deliver patient care across multiple departments, including Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Women's Health at our facility. The position requires a commitment of at least 12 hours every 90 days, with shifts available during the day or night, emphasizing the need for flexibility and readiness for short-notice assignments. Overview: Utilizes the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care. Maintains professional accountability for the care provided to assigned patients. Assesses the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other caregivers. Collaborates with various departments to coordinate patient care. Position Details: Facility: Springfield and Surrounding Areas Department: GIG Status: PRN/Per Diem/Flexible/Float Shift: Various Shifts Available JoinOurTeam Incentives: $40/hour plus Variable Shift Incentives W-2 Employee Status Minimum of 12 hours worked every 90 days Shifts available in 4, 8, or 12-hour increments Flexible work opportunities throughout the community based on your availability Position Overview: Are you looking for a flexible RN role with incentives? You can choose between day or night shifts based on your preference! There are no mandatory weekend, holiday, or shift requirements. Participation in the Gig Nursing Program entails being responsible for scheduling a minimum number of hours, being available on short notice, and being adaptable to last-minute shift cancellations. Please note that the Gig Nursing Program does not guarantee shift hours and will be prioritized for cancellations. Departments Seeking GIG RNs: Behavioral Health (BH) Emergency Department (ED) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Medical-Surgical (MS) Women's Health (L&D, NICU, M&B) Qualifications: Required Education: Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Licensure: Must obtain and maintain a current compact RN license Experience: At least one year of recent bedside RN experience for Medical-Surgical roles. For other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.), a minimum of two years of recent bedside RN experience is required. Certifications: For Medical-Surgical, Behavioral Health, and Women's Health - Basic Life Support (BLS) For Critical Care - BLS, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) For Emergency Department - BLS, ACLS, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Additional certifications may be required post-hire Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Epic software Why Choose Us?
