Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry – Alabama Start Date: February 2, 2026 Location: Alabama Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 13-week assignment, Day shift, 12-hour shifts with weekend coverage required, 28 hours of orientation provided Highlights: 400-bed Level II Trauma Center with a 42-bed medical-surgical/telemetry unit Patient ratio up to 1:6 or 1:7, average daily census of 35 patients Work with adult and geriatric populations in a high-acuity environment Interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more Specialized skills including telemetry monitoring, chemotherapy administration, and port management Opportunity to work in a large healthcare facility setting Requirements: Active Alabama RN license required at time of application Current ACLS and BLS certifications required Minimum 1 year of RN experience required Telemetry experience required Chemotherapy administration and port management experience required Travel nursing experience preferred; candidates with extensive experience may be considered Must reside outside 90-mile radius from facility COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered) Flu vaccination required (no exemptions) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a well-established Level II Trauma Center where you'll provide comprehensive care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
