be considered. A Registered Nurse with expertise in Cardiovascular
Operating Room (CVOR) nursing is needed for a contract opportunity
in Cottondale, Alabama. This role involves providing quality,
compassionate care while maintaining professional nursing standards
and fostering positive therapeutic relationships with patients and
families. The position requires leadership skills to supervise and
support a diverse care team, including LPNs, PCAs, Ortho Techs, and
other staff members. Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and direct
nursing care in the CVOR setting. Circulate during surgical
procedures to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow.
Supervise and encourage team members, delegating tasks and
promoting high standards of care. Float between units and hospitals
as needed. Work a schedule of five 8-hour shifts per week (40 hours
total), including holidays and every other weekend. Qualifications
and Desired Experience: Associate degree in nursing required.
Registered Nurse license for the State of Alabama or Compact
license (temporary licenses not accepted). Current AHA Basic Life
Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
certifications or equivalent Red Cross certification. Minimum of 2
years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in CVOR or a
closely related specialty. Candidates with 18 months of experience
under a professional license may be considered. Experience
