Practice Overview Join a single-physician cardiology practice with dedicated RN support and optional scribes Brand-new 2023 cath lab with GE equipment and nuclear stress testing Broad cardiology scope including hypertension, heart failure, and stress echocardiography Minimal STEMI volume and no structural heart program Opportunity to help shape general and interventional cardiology services Schedule Monday through Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays Primarily clinic-based with scheduled procedural time in the hospital cath lab Flexible scheduling options, including two weeks on and two weeks off Support staff handle prep and coordination to keep the days running smoothly Compensation & Benefits Base salary starting at $750,000 with potential to exceed $1 million through wRVU incentives $75,000 sign-on bonus and up to $15,000 in relocation assistance Loan repayment available up to $1,000 per month for the duration of employment Full benefits, including malpractice with tail, medical, dental, vision, and CME support Candidate Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology Comfortable balancing clinic care with cath lab procedures Seeking a stable, long-term role with room for professional growth About the Community This historic Alabama city offers a rich cultural scene, Southern hospitality, and a scenic riverfront setting.
