Overview: Seeking experienced ABEM or ABOEM certified physicians
for a full-time Emergency Medicine opportunity near Birmingham, AL.
Join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in a Level 3
trauma center, providing high-quality emergency care to a diverse
patient population. Position Details: Annual Volume: Manage a
robust annual volume of 56,000 patient visits, ensuring efficient
and effective emergency care delivery. ER Bed Capacity: Work in a
well-equipped emergency department with 45 beds, equipped to handle
a wide range of medical emergencies. Trauma Center Designation:
This facility is designated as a Level 3 trauma center, offering
specialized care for trauma patients. Physician and APC Coverage:
Benefit from comprehensive coverage with 51 physician hours and 47
APC hours per day, ensuring adequate staffing to meet patient
needs. Shift Schedule: Physicians work 9 and 10-hour shifts,
providing flexibility and work-life balance. Qualifications: Board
Certification: Candidates must be board certified in Emergency
Medicine by ABEM or ABOEM, demonstrating proficiency in managing
acute and critical medical conditions. Experience: Previous
experience in emergency medicine is preferred, but motivated new
