Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Tuscaloosa, AL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,208 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, 35401! Job Title: Travel Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 36 or 48 hours per week Experience: 1 year in specialty, 18 months acceptable with highest level of professional license License: Registered Nurse State License or Compact License Certifications: AHA BLS or Red Cross Certification Must-Have: - Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals - Must work holidays as required - Must work every other weekend Description: The Trauma Surgical Unit is mainly focused on acute care trauma and surgical patient populations. Nurses in this area maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6. The team employs an interdisciplinary approach to meet each patient's specific needs. Staff members are experts in trauma as well as orthopedic and urology patients. Individualized attention is provided to hospitalized patients for illness, surgery, testing, and observation. Collaboration occurs with family practice physicians, hospitalists, and a variety of surgical specialists. An associate degree in nursing is required. Two years of experience is preferred, but 18 months will be considered if working under the highest level of professional license. A minimum of one year of experience in the specialty is required.
