be considered. An opportunity is available for an experienced
Registered Nurse skilled in stepdown care to support a dynamic team
in Birmingham, AL. This contract position offers a compelling work
environment where clinical expertise in managing complex patients
is highly valued. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality
nursing care to stepdown patients with a nurse-to-patient ratio of
1:4 Monitor and manage conditions such as pneumonia and other
common diagnoses within the stepdown unit Utilize Epic for accurate
and timely charting and documentation Float between units as
needed, demonstrating flexibility and broad clinical skills Adhere
to hospital protocols, including BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS guidelines
Qualifications: Current RN license with experience in stepdown
nursing units Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS
(Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and NIHSS (National
Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Proficiency in Epic electronic
health record system Ability to work every other weekend and float
based on unit requirements Experience working within a
nurse-to-patient ratio of up to 1:4 Location:Birmingham offers a

Approximately 36 hours per week Every other weekend required This

wears navy blue scrubs and works within a supportive float pool
