Job Description:
Gifted Healthcare, a premier nursing and healthcare staffing
agency, is seeking a dedicated Travel MedSurg RN to join our team
in Opelika, Alabama. As a MedSurg RN, you will provide direct
nursing care in a diverse hospital setting to help in the treatment
and care of patients who are currently undergoing treatment for
serious medical conditions. This role requires an adaptation to
various hospital units, working closely to ensure patient safety
and comfort, while administering medications, managing basic life
support needs, and monitoring vital signs. With Gifted Healthcare,

diverse patient population in a dynamic environment. Assess, plan,
and implement nursing care plans for medical-surgical patients.
Monitor patient health and progress closely, adjusting care plans
as necessary. Administer medications accurately and observe
reactions if any. Communicate effectively with patients, their
families, and the healthcare team. Maintain accurate documentation
and comply with all legal requirements. Educate patients and
families on management of illnesses and post-hospital treatment.
Strong clinical skills in a medical-surgical environment Ability to
adapt to changing environments and patient needs Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in using medical
software and EMR systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance Valid State RN License Basic Life Support
(BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Certification preferred
