Job Description:
Gifted Healthcare is actively seeking a dedicated and
compassionate MedSurg Registered Nurse (RN) to join our outstanding
team of healthcare professionals in Pell City, Alabama. As part of
our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic
hospital setting, providing direct patient care in the
Medical-Surgical unit. This position focuses on promoting and
restoring patients' health by collaborating with physicians and
multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and
psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and
supervising assigned team members. Ideal candidates should possess

Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on
patients’ immediate conditions or needs. Administer medications,
wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions.
Interpret patient information and make critical decisions about
needed actions. Coordinate with healthcare team members to assess,
plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Maintain accurate,
detailed reports and records of patient care. Monitor all aspects
of patient care, including diet and physical activity. Provide
support and education to patients’ families regarding condition,
prognosis, and treatment plans. Proficiency in administering
patient assessments and appropriate treatments. Ability to work
effectively within an interdisciplinary team. Strong organizational
and communication skills. Competency in handling severe patient
issues with care and confidentiality. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current RN license in the
state of Alabama or compact state license. BLS certification
required. ACLS certification preferred.
