Job Description:
Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Traveling
Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (MedSurg RN) to join our team in
Birmingham, Alabama. As a premier provider in healthcare staffing,

medical-surgical patients in accordance with established policies,
procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Monitor,
record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate using
computerized documentation systems. Administer medications and
treatments as prescribed and evaluate patient responses. Educate
patients and their families on illness, wellness, and preventative
healthcare. Collaborate with healthcare team to facilitate positive
patient care outcomes and maintain a safe and supportive
environment for patients. Strong clinical skills in a
medical-surgical setting Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Proficiency in using healthcare software and computerized
systems Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Active Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of Alabama or a compact state license Basic
Life Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association or
American Red Cross Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
certification is preferred
