Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is hiring a night-shift RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring an active AL or compact RN license and recent specialty experience. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Position is in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CICU) of a hospital - Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM - 13-week contract assignment - Meditech EMR is used in the unit - Orientation hours included as part of the assignment - All ICU nurses are required to complete an on-site test in addition to online pre-test modules - Virtual orientation includes competency-based modules instead of HealthStream modules - Cardiac exam link provided upon offer acceptance, must be completed within 24 hours - Timekeeping is managed using Centricity - Local and travel candidates accepted at the same rates with no mileage restrictions /n /n Requirements/n - Active AL or compact RN license with no current or past disciplinary actions - Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required, with at least 1 year recent CICU experience - Current RN license must be in hand; no temporary or pending licenses accepted - Ability to complete required on-site and online testing prior to start /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-668894.
