As a PCU RN with Gifted Healthcare, you will handle patients who require close monitoring and advanced medical care, typically seen in the step-down unit from ICU. Our ideal candidate thrives in complex situations and can skillfully enhance patient outcomes through expert care and a detailed understanding of patient needs. Continuously monitor patient health status and respond to subtle changes in condition. Perform regular assessments and administer medications as prescribed. Coordinate care plans and implement interventions with the healthcare team. Educate patients and families on illness management and prevention. Maintain accurate patient records and prepare reports on patient progress. Work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and other nursing staff to ensure optimum patient care.
