Job Description:
Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Long-Term
Acute Care Registered Nurse (LTAC RN) to join our team in
Birmingham, Alabama. In this role, you will deliver high-quality
care to patients in a long-term acute care setting. You will
collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to
enhance patient outcomes, embodying our commitment to excellence
and compassionate healthcare. This position requires a combination
of clinical expertise, empathy, and a passion for making a
meaningful difference in patients' lives. Provide direct and
individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of
scientific nursing principles. Monitor patient health conditions,
assess their needs, and document their medical histories. Perform
diagnostic tests and analyze results to aid in patient assessment.
Administer medications, manage intravenous lines, observe and
monitor patients' conditions, maintain records and communicate with
doctors. Educate patients and their families on disease prevention
and health maintenance. Collaborate with healthcare professionals
to optimize patient care and outcomes. Strong clinical skills in a
healthcare setting. Proficient in utilizing EMR (Electronic Medical
Records) and other healthcare IT systems. Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a
high-pressure environment. Commitment to ethical healthcare
practices and ongoing professional development. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama. BLS (Basic Life
Support) Certification. ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
Certification preferred.
