Job Description:
Genesis HealthCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team, delivering high-quality
patient care in a supportive environment. As a pivotal member of
our healthcare team, you will focus on nursing practices associated
with short-term post-acute, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and
long-term care services. This role requires commitment to
patient-centric care, ensuring each individual's healthcare needs
are met with the utmost dedication and professional expertise.
Assess patients' health problems and needs, develop and implement
nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer
nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.
Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or
provide case management. Supervise licensed practical nurses,
nursing aides, and nursing students. Collaborate with healthcare
team members to discuss and manage patient care using
evidence-based practices. Strong understanding of disease
pathophysiology and medication administration. Excellent
communication and empathy skills. Ability to handle high-stress
situations Strong organizational and leadership skills. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Valid RN license. CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
