registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years Stepdown RN
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A nursing opportunity is
available for a Registered Nurse skilled in Stepdown or Progressive
Care Unit (PCU) settings. This contract position requires clinical
expertise in managing patients who need close monitoring after
intensive care or those requiring specialized care not provided in
standard medical-surgical units. Key Responsibilities: Provide
comprehensive nursing care to patients in Stepdown or PCU
environments Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes
promptly Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to implement
individualized care plans Educate patients and families about
treatment plans and recovery processes Maintain accurate
documentation of patient care and condition Qualifications and
Desired Experience: Active RN license with experience in Stepdown
or Progressive Care Unit nursing Strong assessment and critical
thinking skills in acute care settings Ability to work effectively
within interdisciplinary teams Excellent communication and patient
education abilities Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification;
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred Location: Wetumpka,
