Room Nurse with neuro and spine specialty to support surgical
services at a prominent Birmingham medical center. This contract
position offers a structured day shift schedule with call
responsibilities, providing a dynamic work environment focused on

career. Position Details: Role: Surgical Technologist (ST)
Neuro/Spine Specialty Shift: Day (06:00 16:30), 36 guaranteed
weekly hours Weekend Hours: On-call rotation evenly distributed
Patient Care: 1:1 patient ratio within a 24-bed unit focused on
surgical procedures Equipment: Operating room environment with
Cerner EMR system Dress Code: Scrubs in ceiling blue or royal blue;
no fleece, hoods, t-shirts, sweatshirts, or nail polish permitted
Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in
neuro/spine surgical support Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience preferred in vascular, DaVinci robotic surgery,
orthopedic, or maxillofacial procedures Responsibilities: Provide
direct assistance in the operating room specific to neuro and spine
surgeries Maintain sterile technique and ensure proper equipment
setup Collaborate with surgical teams to support smooth workflow
and patient safety Respond to on-call duties as scheduled by the
coordinator Adhere to hospital policies regarding dress code and
