Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a skilled Speech
Pathologist to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
In this role, you will provide expert speech therapy services in
both facility-based and home-based settings, optimizing
communication abilities and swallowing functions of patients with
various levels of impairment. This position is pivotal in enhancing
patient outcomes, promoting independence, and providing tailored
therapeutic interventions. Assess, diagnose, and treat speech,
language, voice, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement
individualized care plans based on patient needs and goals Provide
therapy in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient,
and home health environments Educate patients and families on
communication strategies and coping mechanisms Collaborate with
other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care Keep
detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans Adapt
speech therapy practices to meet the evolving needs of patients
Strong understanding of speech-related disorders and treatment
techniques Ability to communicate complex concepts to patients of
various ages and backgrounds Proficient in the use of diagnostic
tools and therapy equipment Strong interpersonal and organizational
skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k
Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of
Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) provided
by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
