Job Description:

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic healthcare team in providing exceptional speech therapy services across our network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health agencies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating individuals with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Our goal is to aid our patients in improving their communication abilities and enhance their quality of life through tailored therapy sessions and innovative practices. Evaluate patients' speech, language, and cognitive-communication abilities using standardized tests and other diagnostic procedures. Develop effective, patient-specific treatment plans. Conduct therapy sessions to improve patients' speech clarity, vocal strength, and fluency disorders. Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and coping mechanisms. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate speech therapy with overall patient care. Keep accurate documentation of patient progress and therapy outcomes. Strong knowledge of speech disorder assessment tools. Proficiency in implementing targeted speech therapy interventions. Ability to communicate complex conditions to patients and their families effectively. Capability to work collaboratively in clinical teams. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
