Sarrell Dental & Eye Centers, a non-profit for Alabama's children, serves Medicaid patients in 15 practices throughout Alabama. Our roots trace back to a county-wide health assessment in Northeast Alabama to examine issues of access to healthcare and the health status of the population. The study identified a significant lack of access to dental care for the county's low-income population, particularly children. The Foundation's Trustees committed to fund a dental facility and appointed Dr. Warren Sarrell (1), a trustee, to chair the Task Force on behalf of the board. Sarrell Dental has grown from our first location in Anniston to 15 practices throughout Alabama.
Sarrell started providing dental services in 2000 and expanded to provide optical care in 2006. With the growing need for such services and the convenience of having both optical and dental services in the same office, Sarrell Eye Centers are now located in many of our practices. We offer a daily rate and comprehensive benefits.
