Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a SCRUM Master to help support our Air Force Facilities and Equipment Maintenance (FEM) program.

This is an onsite position in Montgomery, Alabama.

As a SCRUM Master, for our Air Force FEM program in Montgomery, AL you will be part of a team that integrates the IBM Maximo Product for the customer.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Plans and facilitates scrum activities, including sprint planning, daily stand up, demos, board reviews, and retrospectives.
• Maintains JIRA and other information radiators for the teams.
• Collaborates with clients or end users to understand business requirements.
• Acts as a liaison between development teams and product management, ensuring that appropriate project process is made.
• Identifies and resolves impediments that slow development or prevent the team from meeting established goals or milestones.
• Motivates teams to perform and ensures team members are collectively responsible for all aspects of the committed work (analysis, development, testing, documentation, etc.)
• Provides reports based on team capacity and how the team is preforming against capacity.
• Serves as a scrum master for up to two medium size Agile teams or one large Agile team.
  
  Qualifications:
  
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Secret clearance
  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
  • Has obtained Scrum Master certification.
  • 1+ years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules, and practices
  • CompTIA Security+ certification is a plus.
    
    Desired Qualifications:
    
    • Have a good understanding of software development using Agile Methodologies as well the capabilities of a Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) software product.
