Job Description:
Job Description Job Description AFSIM Framework Developer | The
Trailblazer Remote Status: On-Site Job Title: AFSIM Framework
Developer | The Trailblazer Location: Dayton, Ohio Who You Are:
Like Lewis and Clark, this role requires you to navigate situations
and blaze a new trail. You will forge new framework capabilities to
move the mission forward. The maps you create will help future
developers and modelers navigate rough terrain and even the
occasional black hole. You understand that charting a course is
more than following a compass. Similarly, you understand that the
software you develop must be more than a nice-looking UI; you
develop efficient code, documented APIs, and follow established
architectural patterns. When forging your trial, you must balance
providing capabilities at the speed of relevance with the pursuit
of perfection. Much like GPS has changed the way we navigate today,
you will change how users interact with AFSIM using the latest
architectural approaches, open-source tools, and custom developed
code to deliver complete solutions to address user needs. Just like
the intrepid explorers of the early American West, you will need to
manage your time, resources, and relationships to reach your
destination. Along the way you will build relationships,
representing AFSIM to that user community much like Lewis and Clark
represented the U.S. on their trek. Your mission, if you choose to
accept it, will provide you with the opportunity to embark on a
journey developing AFSIM ensuring our continued national security.
