Position available for a full time, in house associate attorney to focus on the area of family law. Applicant must be a licensed attorney in the State of Alabama, provide work related transportation and possess good written and oral advocacy skills. Job requires litigation, motions work and appellate drafting. Compensation is commensurate with experience and newly licensed attorneys are encouraged to apply. Health insurance is available after expiration of 90 day probationary period. Must be interested in litigation and analytical skills and good court room presence is a must. This firm focuses on fathers rights, so anyone who does not believe in equality for fathers in custody cases is discouraged from applying. Send resume and cover letter (along with three references) to OfficeManager@ProtectingMen.com.Job Requirements:* Oversee the screening of cases to determine legal merit and appropriateness* Assist with assignment process, collecting evaluation forms and other tasks* Preparing of legal paperwork and court files* Consult with clients regarding cases involving divorce, custody, child support, termination of parental rights and all other areas of domestic law. * Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with clients via email, phone and in person. * Advocate for clients in courtrooms, over zoom hearings, in motions and pleadings and through appellate briefs, as required. * Assist other attorneys in the draft and preparation of cases. * Developing legal strategies and employing the constitution in family law cases.* Work in a fast paced environment
