Sales Reporting Manager

The Sales Reporting Manager in the GSO AP Sales organization supports sales reporting and analysis in a fast-paced and dynamic sales team responsible for a large volume of multi-product deals. This role requires a high degree of direct interaction with senior sales leaders and finance associates to define, analyze and create periodic reports that align across operational sales groups.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Support the sales forecasting and quota setting process

Drive and support weekly KPI and monthly operations reviews, synergy reporting, pipeline analytics, deep dive reporting, quarterly business review

Proactively identify and resolve attainment issues

Communicate effectively with sales and finance leaders to identify and address areas for improvement and assist them where needed with internal meeting preparation, territory analysis, and attainment reporting

Participate in planning and execution of major Sales Operations initiatives

Work closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Assist sales management in identifying and removing process bottlenecks and inconsistencies

Direct and support the consistent implementation of company initiatives

Ensure alignment and use of standard reporting, definitions, and KPIs through governance processes applicable with business process &/or systems

Provide operational support to allow Sales Leaders and Sales Executives to focus attention on the success of clients, prospects and sales associates

Skills Required:

Bachelor's degree required, preferably Business Administration, Information Systems and/or Accounting/Finance

Minimum 4 years of sales reporting and sales operations experience

Solid understanding of sales analytics, including managing & reporting on territory and pipeline, forecasting, and data quality metrics

Solid understanding of business process management best practices, documentation, and measuring continuous improvement

Other demonstrated attributes – strong communicator teamwork-oriented, problem-solver, accountable, adaptable, motivated, results-oriented, solution oriented, and driven to succeed

Strong, executive-ready communication skills and the ability to articulate and deliver sales reports in actionable formats

Excellent time management skills, with ability to manage and meet multiple tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to management information requests

Excellent interpersonal skills to build peer support and strong inter-company relationships with sales and finance associates for timely reporting

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Very strong skill level with Microsoft Power BI, Office, especially Excel and Pivot

Travel required: minimal
