Summary: Responsible for the day-to-day financial management of pharmacy enterprise across the system, compliance review,operations of 340B eligible clinic-administered medications in eligible locations, mixed-use areas managed by split-billing software, outpatient prescriptions fulfilled by owned or 340B contract pharmacies,revenue cycle monitoring and optimization, margin evaluation, patient assistance program, CDM, formulary maintenance, evaluation of margin and employee prescription usage optimization. Serves as the primary internal and external program expert and liaison for all pharmacy enterprise related to financial compliance and 340B Program requirements. Provides oversight and leadership from the department of Pharmacy for revenue management and 340B Program. Helps lead and assist the organization's 340B oversight team, which includes representation from pharmacy, legal, compliance, finance, and senior administration. Develops and maintains internal relationships (accounting, legal, national) and external relationships (wholesalers, 340B organizations, manufacturers, contract pharmacies, split-billing software vendors, employee benefit pharmacy benefits managers (PBMs), and third-party administrator (TPA) vendors) as needed. Actively engages with senior leadership and participates in decision-making processes related to the implementation of new 340B processes and revenue optimization.

  • B.S., PharmD (Pharmacist) or CPA/MBA (non-Pharmacist)
  • 1-3 years experience managing 340B programs in mixed use setting or hospital audit experience highly preferrable
  • 340B University advance certification within 3 months in position required
  • Ability to easily learn new technologies and computer software programs
  • Have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to prioritize and multi-task and/or change tasks frequently and quickly
  • Demonstrates successful time management skills
  • Able to independently problem solve, organize workload, accomplish goals and objectives and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of 340B statutes, compliance, guidelines, and policies, CMS/Medicaid, and reimbursement
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Access, Word and mastery of Excel
