Job Summary: As the Assistant Service Coordinator for Skier's Marine, you work closely with the Service Coordinator to ensure our Service Center is operating with integrity, efficiency, and profitability. You work closely with your Center's technicians to resolve problems quickly and deliver excellence to our customers. This position will require you to stay extremely organized as you keep accurate data while managing a growing customer base. You will excel in this position by understanding your IPOD Responsbilities and do your job every day with those items in mind.TasksDaily Tasks (not all will apply every day, most will apply most days)Update all customers that are on the lot or scheduled for lake service that week on every Tuesday by phone, text, and/or email.Update all customers whose boats are currently being worked on daily.Check and respond to all voicemails and emails.Write up and schedule all incoming service work orders.Schedule technicians workload based on competencies for the day ensuring they have enough scheduled work to hit their efficiency goal.Take pictures of all incoming service boats and load them in Google Drive and remove hull drain plug and attach to the steering wheel if not already done.Create purchase orders for all parts ordered and ensure correct parts margins.Order parts as needed to keep job workflow moving and proper inventory levels.Must get approval for orders over $500 from your General Manger.Work with General Manager to ensure proper parts stocking, do not order parts for stock without approval except for maintenance parts.File all warranty claims that come in that day.Create estimates for any insurance claims.Ensure your work area and shop are kept clean and organized to impress customers.Schedule all service and sales boat cleanings with the lot persons.iPod: "I"-- - Initial Responsibilities:- Customer Follow Up - Timely (every day if needed) contact with customers that starts with a warm greeting that develops into a relationship, which gains their trust.- Order Parts - Make sure necessary parts are ordered in a timely manner to keep the technicians efficient and to meet customer delivery expectations.- Take Pictures of Service Boats - Take pictures of all service boats upon arrival in accordance with Skier's Marine Picture Taking Best Practices memo. Store all images in the service team folder in Google Drive.- Perform Quality Inspection - Inspect all completed service boats once service cleaning is done to ensure the quality of work.- Continuing Communication with Sales Team - Participate in weekly dealership meetings and take note of all sales needs to ensure boats are ready when promised. Have ongoing conversations throughout the week as needed to keep the sales team updated.- Computer Proficiency - Must be able to navigate Windows and/or Mac operating system and be able to type 55+ words per minute on .- Manage Warranty Filings - File warranty claims immediately as repairs are needed, ship parts back in a timely manner and ensure final payment for warranty claims from manufacturers and vendors."P"-- - Preferred Responsibilities- Participate in Coordinator's Conference Call - Schedule and prepare for a weekly conference call with other Skier's Marine Coordinator's to resolve issues and maintain company unity."O"-- - Optional Responsibilities:- Continuing Education - Attend industry service schools, management & leadership classes and webinars to gain job and leadership skills."D"-- - Never Do-Do not do anything that would make any customer doubt that Skier's Marine is the best boat dealership for them.- Do not compromise yourself, your values, or your work reputation; only excellence will do.- Do not let your attitude affect the customer's experience negatively.- Do not gossip or talk negatively about any customers, team members, the company, or the manufacturer.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $42,450.00 per yearBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayOvertimeWeekend availabilityApplication Question(s):Do you have any experience in the boating industry?
