Job Description:

EHE Coordinator Reports to: Executive Director EHE Coordinator Job Purpose : The EHE Coordinator coordinates ACAR s End the HIV Epidemic in Alabama prevention program. Job duties:

• The EHE Coordinator will supervise prevention specialists.
• The EHE Coordinator will present prevention programming on HIV.
• The EHE Coordinator will coordinate all aspects of programming including events, meetings, workshops, outreach, communications, and media.
• The EHE Coordinator will collaborate with state and county level agencies to achieve grant goals.
• The EHE Coordinator will manage data entry in performance management and contact management database.
• The EHE Coordinator will attend HIV Prevention Network meetings and HIV Prevention and Care Group meetings.
• The EHE Coordinator will update training materials and add to the electronic library, post social media invitations and information about trainings.
• The EHE Coordinator will produce program materials such as flyers, brochures, one-pagers, etc. for trainings and direct service activities.
• Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications :
  • College degree preferred.
  • Experience in HIV and/or sexual violence preferred.
  • Prevention or teaching experience preferred.
  • Highly organized and the ability to prioritize workload.
  • Flexible, with ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Multicultural sensitivity.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Skills in database management and publication a plus.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Superior relationship-building skills.
  • Courteous and professional manner.
  • Ability to maintain a calm and professional attitude under pressure or constantly shifting priorities. 40 hours/week In-state and some national travel required.
