Position Overview:

The QA Engineer will ensure the quality and reliability of the company's products and services. Will apply expertise on multiple complex work assignments that may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. The Sr. QA Engineer will develop methodology and present solutions to problems, while contributing to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the software meets its requirements and specifications
• Identify, isolate and report defects and bugs in the software
• Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to reproduce and diagnose defects
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
• Keep up to date with the latest developments in the software testing industry
• Participate in Agile development processes, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Communicate with the development team to ensure that the software meets the needs of the end-users
• Continuously learn and experiment with new technologies and testing methodologies Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools
  • Experience with manual and automated testing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and and teamwork abilities
  • Familiarity with the software development tools such as JIRA, Trello, and Visual Studio
  • Familiarity with cloud-based development and deployment(AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
  • Experience with front-end technologies(HTML, CSS, Javascript) is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new technologies and methodologies as they emerge
  • Willingness to continuously improve skills, keen attention to details and be able to spot defects and errors in the software Additional Info/Benefits
